Subject: Way to go Obie!!!

Well Obie is up to 67 lbs!!! & it Finally happened !! , I was so happy for her..

A small piece of Background. Obie is a rescue 2 year old bitch that came to stay here for recuperation. She had heart worm, 2 types of pneumonia, & was severely underweight( 35 lbs) when I picked her up on Nov 6 of this year.

On our many Vet visits we always got stares & a few people commenting on What did I do to this poor dog ?? most people were repulsed by her condition. an wouldn't even look at her let alone pet her. I can sortta see their point, she did look like death warmed over. But it was still hard to see her make the effort & to be rejected over & over.

Obie is a VERY sweet loving affectionate dog. & wants to go say hi to everyone. it was heart breaking to see her & see people not willing to even say hi to her or pet her.

But Finally it happened!! I took her to the pet store & not one But SEVERAL people said " Oh what a pretty dog!! & she's so sweet!! " Lots of pets & hugs. Obie loved every second of it ! now they all thought she was an Irish Wolf hound. But that's because of her buzz cut. And Obie didn't care.

Obie was Happy & I was so happy for her. She had the best time little stubby tail going 90 miles an hour. Made my whole day.
