Playbill Bio for Bart Russo |
| Appearing in his stage debut, Bart
adds to a long line of accomplishments,
including Herding, Agility, Obedience, and
obtaining his Canine Good Citizen
certificate. He was adopted from the
Bouviers' Befrienders of Michigan at 7
years. Bart is ideal for the role of Horrid
as his breed is sometimes called Vuilbaard
which means "Dirty Beard." He has also been
described as a walking lint brush. Now, at
12 years, his favorite activities include
dripping water from his beard onto
unsuspecting humans and slurping everyone in
sight. Bart would like to thank Cheese. Bart had a great time doing this show. He was always the center of attention, and received many complements from the cast on his behavior. There was also much cheese to be had, before his scene, during his scene, after his scene, between scenes... Bart (or any Bouvier) was really perfect to play Horrid. Here are some of the lines pertaining to him. "I know he looks like an unmade bed, but he's actually a dog... A pointer,... but it's hard to tell which way he's pointing." "What's the use? All you can see is hair." and my personal favorite "There's even a hint of summer in the air... (Pellinore sniffs, then gets a disgusted look on his face) or is that *you*?" |
