Kathy Engel is a gifted artist whose wonderful work graces several pages of the Bouvsite. You can see a gallery of her work by clicking the graphic. Kathy has generously offered to produce a "pen and ink drawing" based on your favorite photograph. This work is valued @ $125. It will take approximately 6 weeks to produce & the photo will be returned. Since I'm not ebay, send me your bids, I'll keep track, publish them w/o names as I get them. Suggestions & Extras for the winning bidder
[Provide] clear photos that show dog's body english and expression clearly or you will end up with a generic Bouvier and not one specifically yours. Send more than one photo and mark '1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice etc. All photos will be returned. All drawings focus on dogs/sheep/goats/agitator i.e. the action. Landscape elements will not be included. Shadows may or may not be included depending upon the subject. Color or black and white photos are acceptable, but, the more detail I can see the more detail will be included. If someone chooses to be extra generous in their bid, I will be extra generous in what I do. Bid it up over $300 and I will do a PAIR of drawings! But wait there is more! I will scan the completed drawing/s in, convert them to various graphic formats and burn the images on a CD for your use. I will also include 2 dozen note cards w your finished image/s on warm white linen paper with matching envelope that can also include the phrase "A Note from and the first name of your choice". So let's see just how generous you all can be. Jan will also be given a digital copy of the finished artwork to post on his web site to show the winning artwork if he and the winner so desire.
