 Bentley
a Bouvpuppy Tail

Well,

Bentley recently sprained his left front leg.  He was roughhousing with an older, bigger Bouv and came up limping.

A trip to the vet confirmed my suspicions of a soft tissue injury (whew!) and some aspirin and less activity were the order of the day... Wait! A 4 month old Bouvier? Keep him quiet? No jumping? Are they joking?

So, Bentley has been confined to the kitchen, when he tries to get too rowdy with our other dog. He is disgusted with this insult.

So, yesterday I put him in the kitchen and he pouted. "I'm sorry bud, but it is for your own good" was my response. He followed me into the adjacent laundry room.

As I unloaded towels, fresh, clean and warm, from the dryer in to a laundry basket, Bentley had a drink and then promptly held his dripping beard over the basket of fresh towels. I looked at him and put my hand on my hip and said "was that really necessary?" He put his head down on the towels, made a moaning noise and farted.

Point taken...

Donna and Bentley (well, they WERE towels)
