This is our "Nikobi" Bear- CH Lanvern's Kobi Running Bear

Born 4-20-1994  Left for The Rainbow Bridge on August 26, 2006. Nikobi came to our home with the most wonderful personality there ever could be in a little Bouvier man. He was soft, loving, sweet and full of the dickens!

Nikobi was our first Bouvier and taught us many things in his 12 plus years of life. Some of which was so delightful, it was hard to believe he was so smart. Nikobi loved everyone and every dog that came into our home! Greeted everyone with a bounding happiness and a grace of his own. He was a boy that loved his own space, but never didn't know what we were doing or what was going on! Nikobi was a protector of his home, Family and the Bouvier girls here.

He LOVED his butt scratched and was just plain FUNNY! Just when you weren't looking, Nikobi would dart between your legs to get his butt scratched and if you weren't ready for it, he would almost take you off your feet!

Nikobi was a finished Champion, however Hated the show world. SO...we never took him back. All good with us as he ONLY had to be Happy! That was all we asked of him. AND...and GOOD BOY he was! Right to the end.

One of the funniest things Nikobi would do is...when we went to call him in from the yard, he would always look around to see who we were talking to as there MUST be ANOTHER Nikobi out there somewhere! We just couldn't possibly be TELLING him to come in! ha ha a funny boy!

So This is where we part,
My friend and you'll run on...
Around the bend, gone from sight,
Imbedded in our hearts,
But not far from our minds.
For new pleasures there
You will surely find!

We will go on, and find the strength,
Life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave,
Share one last look, before we grieve.

 There are others, that much is true,
BUT they be they and They AREN'T YOU!
Fair,  impartial or so we thought,
we will remember well..
ALL YOU TAUGHT!

Your Place We'll Hold,
you WILL BE MISSED,
the fur we stroked,
the nose we kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
Take With You This...
